Overall Satisfaction with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Interaction Studio

We currently use Evergage to deliver personalized onsite messaging. We also use Evergage as one of our AB testing tools. The product department uses Evergage to test and subsequently roll out minor onsite tests as well as major feature sets. Our marketing department uses Evergage to deliver personalized messages to our members.
  • Very powerful tool with robust data collection
  • Ability to target highly specific audiences
  • Customer support is responsive and helpful
  • Virtually all tests, features, or messages require some level of engineering effort as the WYZIWYG is not intuitive and can be a challenge for less technical users.
  • User interface is not necessarily intuitive. For example, it can be a challenge to find a relatively simple feature like the automatic test scheduler.
  • The ROI delivered by Evergage has been fairly significant. Evergage has powered a handful of our website's most impactful features.
  • I would note that the ROI stated above would not have been realized had we not had highly technical employees using it.
Evergage is superior to their competition in that they deliver excellent customer service and a variety of features. Optimizely is the easiest for a non-technical employee to use but is only for AB testing. SFMC is the most challenging interface to conquer but it also includes mobile push notification capability (not sure Evergage does that yet).
Evergage is a great tool to deliver personalized messaging and is also a great engine for features like recommended products, scrollbar messaging, etc. Evergage is not always a great AB testing tool as the analytics can be difficult to interpret and the WYSIWYG editor is challenging to operate.
