Overall Satisfaction with ExpressionEngine
ExpressionEngine has completely transformed the way we manage our website. This is our first CMS and it has been a life-saver when it comes to making instant updates or creating/editing content across all of the different pages. We have specific templates designed to fit our brand, our products, and our wireframe.
- Editor contains preview windows to check work before saving changes.
- Each section has a WYSIWYG which instructs users on the dimensions needed for images.
- Sometimes, I'm unable to pull from the PDF folder when trying to link a file in the WYSIWYG.
- Content boxes in certain templates do not expand, which makes it difficult to navigate where the cursor is and keep your place while editing.
- Our website traffic has gone up massively since the new site infrastructure was rolled out.
- The site is considerably more customer-friendly and has received a number of compliments from visitors who had trouble locating information on the previous version of the website. Customers who are happy with their overall user experience are much more likely to continue giving us their business.

ExpressionEngine is just as dynamic, if not more so than the other CMS tools that I've worked with in the past. From my experience, It's been easier to customize the templates and content containers. This advantage makes a world of difference when trying to design a landing page or sub-page that demands a bit more personalization.
