Overall Satisfaction with F5 BIG-IP

Load balancing, direct support for government websites. Pool and DNS issues we resolve with F5 BIG-IP.

Pros

  • Showing direct paths of issues

Cons

  • Understanding the path language
  • Shorter clicks to get into deep paths
  • It has cut down on down time
  • Reporting is ok, but still helps seeing the overall picture
Because you can go deep, it does take time to figure out where to go. If there were shorter clicks to go deep into a path, that would be nice.

When we have monitored alerts and able to go into F5 BIG-IP and able to diagnose the issue with our having to go to other consoles.
