Overall Satisfaction with F5 BIG-IP
in our team, we mainly use the LTM and GTM service.
LTM we uses for the exchange service and ldap mainly. GTM is mainly for the A record.
so far no challenges as service is very standard, but we are trying to use API for automation, however, there is a challenge when we are trying to use service account and because we have many organization unit, it wasn't able to search in specific one instead it searches the entire tree

Pros
- LTM - load sharing
- GTM - A record
- AFM - up to layer 4 filtering
Cons
- Automation - it needs more public module
- so far no negative impact for F5 BIG-IP
- F5 BIG-IP Advanced Firewall Manager (AFM)
it was used in my previous company. the challenge of operation is very overhead as it can't easily identify the blocking rule, but the function is very staple
