Overall Satisfaction with F5 BIG-IP
we use the LTM and GTM modules for load balancing and DNS.
We have customer facing applications which need to be behind load balancers to terminate SSL, do some header modifications, load balance and persistence is something that's really useful for our use case. We also make use or iRules to help with troubleshooting and header manipulations

Pros
- Automation capability is good
- Logging is extensive and support of iRules to create detailed logs is good
- The upgrade and rollback process is good
Cons
- F5 could give option to revert config changes in TMUI
- irules validation and testing features can be added
- container solution can be provided which will be useful for testing environments
- We have to rely on physical chassis for testing, which is negative
- Native support with Ansible has helped with automation and saved a lot of man hours
- The discontinuation of big-ip next has negatively impacted us since we took so much effort in testing and discussions for about a year
