Overall Satisfaction with Financial Edge NXT
Financial Edge NXT is being used by our accounting team for data entry, oversight, and reporting. We upgraded to NXT for both Financial Edge and Raiser's Edge to allow for easier access and reporting.
- The reporting exports in the NXT view are much cleaner than the database view.
- Accounts payable entry is very user-friendly.
- The feature that is coming soon to link bank accounts and credit cards for easier reconciliation is very exciting.
- Cannot set up or modify VCOs on the NXT side yet.
- We use the allocation module as an add-on and this has yet to be done in the database view.
- I would love to be able to import into the journal entry area.
- Cleaner reporting exports have reduced time needed each month for normal reporting.
- Easier and cleaner access for view only personnel to be able to know what the numbers are with very little training.
- New user training is much faster and easier with the NXT view.
We previously used QuickBooks and while we were comfortable with the functionality and ease of use, we chose to move forward with Financial Edge and then the NXT version because of the integration with the other modules and being able to link all of the data together to reduce duplication of effort as well as minimize the risk of errors.
