Overall Satisfaction with FireMon

Support has always been prompt and helpful.
FireMon Security Manager is being used by the security operations team to audit firewall configurations and determine access for firewall change requests. The network team uses it for configuration and reporting.

Pros

  • Auditing of configurations
  • Policy planning for firewall change requests
  • Reporting

Cons

  • AD authentication setup is somewhat challenging
  • Licensing model is confusing
  • It has greatly improved our abilities to monitor firewall changes
  • Reporting is good

Ratings are useful, but information about how customers are using our software as well as Pros and Cons are even more important.
