Overall Satisfaction with Flock

Flock is used internally in the organization for communication between employees and within teams. It helps us to communicate via instant messenger, personal chat, and group chat. We also use it for voice and video calls. Since our organization has teams of developers, they need Flock to discuss technical matters and share files and documents.

Pros

  • Instant Messaging.
  • File and Document Sharing.
  • Integration with Google Docs.

Cons

  • Voice and Video calls.
  • Searching
  • Stability
  • Better Communication leads to better output.
  • File Sharing leads to productivity gains.
  • Channels and Topics helped in making company-wide announcements.
  • Google Drive Integration in Time Savings.
We really like Flock's user-friendly interface. It is intuitive and easy to use. All online members can be easily seen in the UI, and starting individual and group chats is very easy. When closed, the Flock sits in the Task Manager and notifies when a new chat message arrives.
Flock stands up very well against others when used for individual and group chats. It also works well with Google Drive Integration. The best part of Flock, compared with others, is in the area of File and Document sharing. The two areas it slightly lacks are voice/ video calls and search.

Do you think Flock delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Flock's feature set?

Yes

Did Flock live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Flock go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Flock again?

Yes

Flock is very well suited in scenarios where individuals must communicate via chat. It also works great when teams need to communicate via group chat messages. File and document sharing is another area where Flocks works well. Channels are used for discussions on specific topics or organization-wide announcements. Flock may be less appropriate when you use it for voice and video calls. Where.
