Overall Satisfaction with FreeAgent
We use FreeAgent for creating estimate and invoicing clients as well as managing staff expenses. We also use it for payroll and giving staff access to their pay records.
Staff are able to upload receipts and check on the progress of their payments.
Being able to categorise payments to projects is very useful.

Pros
- Sending detailed estimates to potential clients and managing the status.
- Uploading expense receipts
- Sending out invoices
Cons
- Clearer explanations as to what certain actions do. e.g. Smart Capture
- Clearer menus as things are in different areas and not obvious.
- Contact naming, especially when you have multiple contacts in one company
- It has made managing leads much easier by being able to track progress
- Managing contacts is tricky when searching as results only show company name and not the contact name

Using FreeAgent
4 - We use it for billing, staff expenses, payroll and managing project finances. The main function is for sending estimates and invoices to clients and this works very well in the main as we are a small company.
Also, for staff to upload personal expenses as well as those paid for on company cards.

We don't have anyone specifically supporting FreeAgent for us? Most of the functions we use are easy to use and if anyone has a query, some staff are more proficient and able to help out.

- Ease of Use
As a small company we do not have an 'IT' department, so any new application has to be easy to use and to learn the use of for all staff using it.
I was not involved in the original choice. But in future I would weigh up the cost against the features, specifically those that we would be using on a regular basis.

I don't believe we have premium support. We rarely use support, so I imagine this is the reason.
