Overall Satisfaction with Freshchat

Freshchat is used as a channel to collect chats from google, facebook and also web chat. Google my business is being turned off by google so webchat and facebook at the main sources. We also have whatsapp integrated with numerous numbers

  • Social media sources
  • Third party apps

Cons

  • Search function is not great
  • Reporting isnt great as they took the legacy reporting away which worked well
  • Filtering by date in chats does not exist
  • Whatsapp is a great tool when using for proactive outreach
  • Facebook collection of chats
  • Being able to speak to customers in real time
I would have increased the rating but searchin and filtering and also reporting is not great
Its under the same company Freshworks which allows integrations

If you are looking for a basic service which is sourced through different chats then its great, just be mindfull that there are limitations to reporting and searching functions
