Overall Satisfaction with Geopointe
At the moment, we are using its API in a rather clever way. We are using it to geolocate our leads, then calculate whether they are in a 20-mile radius of an active and upcoming events campaign. This is then used to pop a banner on the record.
This isn't out of the box stuff, we coded it ourselves. We are also starting to look into its capabilities to radius search (by driving distance) leads to add to campaigns. It is very clever on that front.

Pros
- Clever awareness that not all journeys are as the crow flies.
- Development over time listened to wishes, in particular to let you create shapes based on UK Postcode.
- Very simple front end, relatively light on resources.
Cons
- I've found using shapes based on rather weighty data can take some times. Looking for ways to help you optimise in terms of speed and displaying data would be appreciated.
- A bit more clarity on what you can and cannot do with a license. There are some functions that you get a scattering of capabilities on (assignments) which you can find that you'll need to pay more for to really unlock.
- It has been a vital tool for our events team, allowing them to target and fill up their seminars.
- Through our development, we've been able to present information to our contact centre in order to assist them in filling seminars.
I found they were all rather similar in scope. Geopoint seemed to be the best in value and general look and feel.
