Overall Satisfaction with GiveSmart
We use GiveSmart to support various types of fundraising activities, including galas, auctions, Day of Giving and special projects. It is only used within the Development Office. However, the data analyses that come from the reports it produces are shared with the school's leadership team for planning purposes. It also assists us in expanding our prospect database.

We used Qtego for our gala auction for two years but then looked for options because it was difficult to use and did not have nearly the reporting capabilities we wanted. GiveSmart is so much easier for both the organization and our attendees, and gives us a wealth of data reports. The cost was comparable, but GiveSmart benefits are much more extensive.
I was very nervous when I started the set-up process, but after watching a few of the videos, I became genuinely excited, and confident I could do this. Most of it I have been able to do intuitively, but the customer support for questions is outstanding.
There are several types of support to choose from: live and recorded webinars, videos, written instructions, and prompt, courteous personal chats. Don't worry about having to figure out anything on your own; they have your back!

It is very helpful in tracking donations, ticket sales, item donations and payments. If you can used a spreadsheet like Excel, you will have no problems getting set up with GiveSmart. I am not tech-savvy enough to use all of its features, but it is well-worth our investment.
