Overall Satisfaction with GiveSmart

It is used to power our online donations through our website, and we use it for donor reports. We also began using their auction/events software. We've used it for one event so far. It allowed us to create an event website, sell tickets and sponsorships, and manage our auction. One thing we want to improve on next time is the closing of the silent auction. GiveSmart relies on mobile auctions, and we set a time for the auction to close on the website. However, we didn't know that we also had to put the closure to "off" on our admin side, so we thought we had preset it. So, we were scrambling to troubleshoot this when people had outstanding balances on their accounts after our event.

My organization has been using GiveSmart's online donation form for many years. It integrates well into our website, and we like using it for multiple campaigns. Their Events software integrates with our accounting software, a big plus over what we used before. Other event/auction softwares have better interfaces for reporting and for event overview - i.e., a list of guests or recent updates readily available.
I have had trouble accessing donor reports and receipts. While event planning, it was challenging to find an overview of the guest list or any recent updates since last logging on. It would be nice to be able to click on someone's name, be taken to their profile, and then access a statement or receipt to download from there.
Responsive and prompt. I've contacted support for many reasons over the years and they always help. Last time, I received multiple check-ins and updates as they worked to solve my issue. I appreciated that.

It's good for online donations. We do not use it for emails or regular donor communications (apart from receipts/statements). We use it for events, but other event softwares might be more beneficial because they're better tailored to nonprofit auctions. On the same coin, GiveSmart is integrated with our accounting software, making reconciling after events easier.
