Overall Satisfaction with GlobalMeet Collaboration

It is used mainly for client calls. All departments have the option to use it. Occasionally we have done large scale client-mandated operator-assisted events with PGI that have had +1000 invitees.
  • Operator-assist.
  • Good quality audio.
  • Majority of toll-free global numbers available.
  • Sometimes calls disconnect.
  • Seamless integration with the web.
  • Audio/web conference recordings should be easier to do and more automatic - Very non-user friendly in an era where recordings are always needed.
  • Options for large teleconferences with over 1000+ attendees.
  • Operator-assist is rare.
  • I think that they are quick to charge for every single thing. By running an operator-assisted event a la carte, it can run up to $3000 cad per event. This is quite high and clients are usually not particularly pleased about this expense.
I would say they are okay, but their level of support and your technology is quite limited. For example, one time I forgot to write down the questions from participants during a large-scale event. There was literally no way for me to access them after, and the tech support was useless. We didn't record this session because of the difficulty and this proved to be a huge inconvenience.
  • Zoom
ZOOM offers advantages such as making it easy to track registration for large scale events, offering their own registration link and page, making it easy (just a checkbox while setting up) to have synced audio/video recording. It also saves questions and right after the call is finished, I get a chat function log as well as the recording. This is very convenient for our company. GlobalMeet has some limitations, however, I would say I use both of this software.
  • Improve overall customer experience via communication tools
I'm not really sure whether this has achieved the goals, to be honest. I'm not involved in the higher-level organization of the company, and we are owned by a larger company who services this product. These are our options so we use them accordingly. We have had some positive events with clients so for those it was a good customer experience.
GlobalMeet is well-suited for small client calls. I'd say for larger calls, although operator-assisted calls are nice (but expensive), other companies are more seamless and the option for easy recording often gives them an advantage. The seamless integration with web could be enhanced for sure, as well as interactivity components (such as raising a hand, asking a question etc).
