GlobalMeet Review
Overall Satisfaction with GlobalMeet Collaboration
It is used mainly for client calls. All departments have the option to use it. Occasionally we have done large scale client-mandated operator-assisted events with PGI that have had +1000 invitees.
Pros
- Operator-assist.
- Good quality audio.
- Majority of toll-free global numbers available.
Cons
- Sometimes calls disconnect.
- Seamless integration with the web.
- Audio/web conference recordings should be easier to do and more automatic - Very non-user friendly in an era where recordings are always needed.
- Options for large teleconferences with over 1000+ attendees.
- Operator-assist is rare.
- I think that they are quick to charge for every single thing. By running an operator-assisted event a la carte, it can run up to $3000 cad per event. This is quite high and clients are usually not particularly pleased about this expense.
- Zoom
ZOOM offers advantages such as making it easy to track registration for large scale events, offering their own registration link and page, making it easy (just a checkbox while setting up) to have synced audio/video recording. It also saves questions and right after the call is finished, I get a chat function log as well as the recording. This is very convenient for our company. GlobalMeet has some limitations, however, I would say I use both of this software.
