Overall Satisfaction with GlobalMeet Collaboration
The GlobalMeet software is typically used by colleagues who have a need to meet with a large number of people on a recorded call, or for ease of joining together multiple organizations on a teleconference. Typical uses are lunch and learn, presentations, collaborative information gathering, announcements, user story analysis, and workflow documentation.

- Quickly access meeting information to copy and share
- Hosted application
- Recordings are of audio along with the shared content.
- Quality of video could use some improvement
- Addition of whiteboard functionality
- Ability to see who was sent an invitation accepts and declines from a meeting dashboard
- Ability to see an attendee list alongside the recording
- Ability to generate a transcript
- Bridging collaboration challenges between partnerships that aren't met via emails.
- Time-savings with the ease of use
- Cost savings with the blend of recording, presentation, and audio
- Multiple options and applications for participants to join from
I was not involved in the purchasing decision, but choose GlobalMeet over Skype in some situations since not all organizations permit their colleagues to join other Skype environments. WebEx is not widely deployed in the organization. I have just started using Teams, and I am not as familiar with using it yet. However, I have had success with joining other organizations that use Teams on a call. It is disappointing that functionality such as the whiteboard is not mutually available in those situations (yet).
