Overall Satisfaction with GoGuardian Admin

We are utilizing GoGuardian Admin for filtering students on the internet. GoGuardian Admin allows me to delegate certain admins to control certain organizational units and only those. The building administrators can block or unblock websites without my assistance. Additionally, they can easily see student history. They have started to use the parent reports during student-parent meetings to help illustrate what the student is doing during the day. We currently do no have any of the parent features enabled, though.
  • Simple interface
  • Specific user roles
  • Easy-to-use reporting
  • Great tool to check filtering for a site
  • Lots of customization
  • Some false flags for explicit content
  • Better notification emails for flags
  • Stronger filtering for YouTube
  • Simple interface for non-tech staff to use
  • Clear filtering rules
  • Syncs with Google
  • Freed up IT's time
  • It is pricey (but worth it!)
  • Provided more control to building administration
  • Lightspeed Filter (formerly Relay)
GoGuardian Admin has been leading the way in content filtering for both on and off site with an easy-to-use interface. At the time, it was one of the first to offer cloud-based off-site filtering for Chromebooks. They continue to grow and provide new features every year with great tutorials and updates.

Do you think GoGuardian Admin delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with GoGuardian Admin's feature set?

Yes

Did GoGuardian Admin live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of GoGuardian Admin go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy GoGuardian Admin again?

Yes

GoGuardian Admin took the pressure off of IT to deal with filtering and gave control to the building admin. No longer does IT have to check if the website is appropriate or if the building principal wants to allow it. They take care of it on their own! Put ownership of internet use back on the building admin instead of IT, since it was always a classroom management problem, not a technology problem.
