Seeing as it's free, there's no reason you shouldn't use Google Authenticator
Overall Satisfaction with Google Authenticator
We've been using Google Authenticator for years. It's one of the easiest ways to ensure two-factor authentication.

Pros
- New code generated about every 30 seconds.
- Backup codes are provided.
- Easy login via a normal google account.
Cons
- Very basic UI.
- Doesn't give the option to refresh code if only a few seconds remain.
- Sometimes glitchy.
- 2-factor Authentication.
- Easy master backup codes.
- Keeps our accounts much more secure.
- Saves time - instead of having to constantly update passwords, pairing this with a database makes accessing accounts for all members much easier.
- It's free, making the ROI immediate.
Google Authenticator is only really competing against SMS two-factor. Instead of getting a text from random phone numbers all the time, you go to one app/ website to get access to any account.
In addition, we can allow our members to share the same Google account (with a master password changed frequently) and allow them access to any account login they need.
