Overall Satisfaction with Google Cloud SQL

We use Google Cloud SQL for relational database usage. For storing the user information, and several logical relations on the user entity like grouping of user. We use it only for storing the data, and it already covers the maintenance, so storing and retrieving data is our only use cases

I have 10 rating because the product is very easy to use, connect and all has all the important features like periodic backups, metrics and monitoring.
It has really good uptime and latency is very less and how it also supports to dump the database if needed and regular maintenance and upgrades
It is very to connect with the Virtual machine in Google Cloud and never faced any issues with it. Also it can also support public database connection where the external systems can also connect and it is really easy to do it. So I am giving 10 out of 10 for the integration, and it is also easy to integrate with other products like BigQuery.
It is easy to connect Google Cloud SQL with the Compute Engine, Cloud Run, BigQuery, or PubSub. The connection inside the Google infrastructure is much more secured and fast when they are in same zone/region, so never faced any issues. The documentation is excellent to connect the services.

It is very well suited when the team wants low maintenance from their end and they need a solid relation database with all the SQL related features. It is very fast and scaled instantly based on the need and it has the redundancy, so data will be not lost.

It is not well suited, when the team wants full control over the SQL server.
