Overall Satisfaction with Google Hangouts Meet

Google Hangouts Meet along with the entire Google suite is very useful when it comes to connectivity as well as the ability to sync various meetings in your calendar so that no one can miss any important meeting in their day.
The users also get the flexibility to use either the web client or the mobile client which enhances the mobility that the users can experience when using Google Hangouts Meet.

Pros

  • Aligning the meetings based on the calendar times of all users.
  • Supported all across the globe to ensure that no one is missing from the action.
  • Support for inviting users from other platforms and managing the guests properly.
  • Large chat rooms and screen recording and sharing abilities.

Cons

  • The overall user experience can be improved when it comes to multi user meetings.
  • The mobile app can be Improved to allow the user to choose the audience he wants in focus.
  • The integrations with Gmail can be improved to add the meetings as an overlay.
  • It is very easy for the clients to use and it helps them to get onto the tool easily.
  • The Google calendar integration makes it very easy to schedule the meetings.
  • The mobile app allows the users to get onto the meetings even from their mobile devices.
Each of these tools have their own advantages but Google meet is a great tool when it comes to having an entire package right from sending out an email to syncing the calendar and then having the meetings.

Google Hangouts Meet is best when it is to be used as the primary communication tool between the clients and the users of the company.
It is great as it allows the user to seamlessly switch from Google Calendar to the meeting and the users can manage not just the invitees but also the other non invited people.

Using Google Hangouts Meet

The users range from the sales team to the engineering team.
The sales team are involved with the different clients and use Google meet as their primary medium to interact with their end clients and use it to demonstrate the tools and products. The engineering team uses it for daily meetings across the team members and to see their various scrum boards and also as a medium to showcase the vision of the company to the various developers and to align them to the end objective of the company.
There is no direct person who is incharge of setting up the Google Hangout Meet client on the company server but still the IT team is incharge of setting up Google meet on the local domain of the company and also setting up the various features available from not only Google meet but also the entire Google Suite.

The overall package of Google Meet and Google Calendar and Gmail is unbeatable as this provides a seamless experience for the end users as they don't need to go and use multiple different tools to organize and setup one meeting. Instead it is as simple as going to Gmail and setting up a meeting within the Calendar and then adding Google hangouts meet as the meeting medium.
This overall ecosystem is what allows the users to trust and enjoy using the Google Suite

Evaluating Google Meet and Competitors

Yes - The organization previously used Zoom Meetings as the primary medium for organizing conferences and other meetings but Zoom lacked that one key thing, the power of usability that accompanies Google meet with the use of Gmail and Google Calendar. Thus came the decision of switching the tools from Zoom to Google hangouts meet.
