Overall Satisfaction with Google Hangouts Meet

Google meet is now the main tool for conferencing, meetings with staff, customers, or suppliers within the organization.

Pros

  • Can allow multiple participants including externals
  • Can share documents during the meeting or share screen
  • Can manage other participants
  • Can now include CC
  • Can be used from Mobile Devices

Cons

  • I would like to see and standalone desktop application (not an extension)
  • If the app could have a widget to see open contacts or calendar would be good but is not relevant at all
  • A PIN protection feature will be good to have more private meetings.
  • Having Google account is an All-in-One since you have multiple tools like Meets in one account.
  • Google Meet has the same features than other vendors apps.
  • Save Money avoiding pay for a different tool
  • Save time since is a built-in feature integrated where you can work with
Google Meet has almost all the same features that other applications offer, basically you dot need to worry about missing features since you're at the same level. Google meet has a modern design, light application with a very easy UI.

Google Meet is perfect for different scenarios and not only for business but it can also be used for Students groups as well. If a corporation has Google account the best is to take advantage of this free tool which is included in the license. There is one thing that Google meet can improve and is the PIN to set private meetings, within an organization people with the link can access (user can be blocked) but a PIN feature, it will make the meeting more secure when accessing from the app or web.

Using Google Hangouts Meet

1500 - Salesperson staff to keep update the customers HR/Managers to joining with their teams to discuss their daily/weekly/monthly goals or to share the news. Coaching, to implement online training with employees from different locations with the option to record the session for future reviews. IT Support, to assist users with any issue related to their PC, sharing the screen makes it easy to provide assistance.
10 - This is for Tier 1 support since the settings from Meets are very easy and basic, nothing is complicated.

Evaluating Google Hangouts Meet and Competitors

Yes - Skype for Bussiness was replaced due to migration to GSuite. Google is easier to manage and has wide features.
