I am avid user of Google meet. I use it for almost any other meetings be it my internal team or other teams and even stakeholders and vendors for the organization. It has a significant importance and due to its borderless integration I use it to connect to the teams based out of my country's geographical borders. Moreover it becomes highly feasible and easy for me to set up meetings with anyone because of the find a time feature and also send them a invite and reminders without me having to take no additional steps for the same.

This app is still having a lot of redundant features as compared to other industry apps such as Zoom and Webex which offers much more on the functionality side along with the option to have greater user access control to the admin/host of the meetings. A sense of interaction is always found to be missing in Google meet which can be easily adopted in the Zoom

Google Hangouts Meet along with the entire Google suite is very useful when it comes to connectivity as well as the ability to sync various meetings in your calendar so that no one can miss any important meeting in their day.
The users also get the flexibility to use either the web client or the mobile client which enhances the mobility that the users can experience when using Google Hangouts Meet.

  • It is very easy for the clients to use and it helps them to get onto the tool easily.
  • The Google calendar integration makes it very easy to schedule the meetings.
  • The mobile app allows the users to get onto the meetings even from their mobile devices.
Each of these tools have their own advantages but Google meet is a great tool when it comes to having an entire package right from sending out an email to syncing the calendar and then having the meetings.
The users range from the sales team to the engineering team.
The sales team are involved with the different clients and use Google meet as their primary medium to interact with their end clients and use it to demonstrate the tools and products. The engineering team uses it for daily meetings across the team members and to see their various scrum boards and also as a medium to showcase the vision of the company to the various developers and to align them to the end objective of the company.
There is no direct person who is incharge of setting up the Google Hangout Meet client on the company server but still the IT team is incharge of setting up Google meet on the local domain of the company and also setting up the various features available from not only Google meet but also the entire Google Suite.

  • A PIN protection feature will be good to have more private meetings.
Google Meet is perfect for different scenarios and not only for business but it can also be used for Students groups as well. If a corporation has Google account the best is to take advantage of this free tool which is included in the license. There is one thing that Google meet can improve and is the PIN to set private meetings, within an organization people with the link can access (user can be blocked) but a PIN feature, it will make the meeting more secure when accessing from the app or web.

We use Google Hangouts Meet in my department, but not organization-wide. It’s a tool we can use to meet quickly. It’s free, convenient, and easy to use. What also helps with the use of Google Hangouts Meet is that we can easily access other Google items during our meetings. We tend to use Google software to save and edit documents. In addition, signing in and out of hangout is not difficult. Most of the software used by the university has at least a 2-step sign-in process.

We use Google Hangouts Meet for more informal meetings where we are doing more team building or informal planning or brainstorming. We have a team of students that have worked with us over the years. Google Hangouts Meet is perfect for group reunions and informal office meetings because of the ease of use and simple sign-up and sign-in.

Google Hangouts Meet is a more relaxed version of Teams and Adobe Connect. It’s certainly easier to access and easier to use. I would say it compares better with Zoom although I think that Google Hangouts Meet is even easier to use and access than Zoom. The other software has recording options, but doesn’t easily sync with the drive.

We are allied health care professionals including a dietitian, wellness coordinator, ATOD health educator, general health education specialist and master health education specialist. We meet with students regularly on a one-on-one basis. We also work as a team to develop interventions and social marketing campaigns for health and wellness topics including stress management, sexual health and healthy eating.

We have an IT staff person that works for the division we report to, but we would only contact her for issues involving software that we have to use our university log-in to access. Google Hangouts Meet is pretty user-friendly and doesn't require most troubleshooting. I've never had a technical issue that didn't work itself out in a few seconds. You can also use the Help Center to get additional support when troubleshooting is needed.

Google Hangouts Meet is easy to use and easy to access. I've experienced very few technical issues compared to other similar software options. It's a little less formal than Microsoft Teams but makes it easy to access other google items such as google drive and google docs. Meeting in hangout gives you an easy-to-use hub to not only meet for planning or team-building purposes but to easily share information that can help you with your meeting goals.
