Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Resolve

We utilize GoTo Resolve to remote into users PC when they have various issues using our platform. It's beneficial for us to take a closer look at the issues they are experiencing and help walk them through them. This helps cut back on time wasted as we can take over their PC and resolve the issue quickly.
  • It is easy for Users to allow us access to their PC.
  • We can monitor the steps they take and help them ensure we get connected.
  • Communication between us and the user is easy with the chat feature.
  • Simple things like being able to copy are not automatically enabled when remoting in.
  • The app will frequently lose connection.
  • After a reboot of the users PC, it will not always regain connection.
  • It has made helping customers easier.
  • It has sometimes made the troubleshooting process longer as connections frequently drop.
It's a become a bit busier in design and certain feature that used to always be on, like copying, are now not so they need to be manually activated which is odd and frustrating. It is also harder to monitor multiple sessions at a time since I cannot view all the windows of the sessions I have open at the same time.
GoTo Assist was a phenomenal and very simple and easy to use tool that helped us help customers all the time. GoTo Resolve feels like a step back from that with multiple performance issues. It's also a busier application that isn't as clean or easy to navigate as it once was.

When a user is not very tech savvy, this program is perfect. We can very easily remote into their PC and walk them through issues or even take over when needed. This makes the troubleshooting process a lot easier and quicker. We then waste less time on manually typing out instructions.
