Overall Satisfaction with LogMeIn Resolve

Remote access software.

Pros

  • Secure
  • Easy UI
  • Creates email-able link.

Cons

  • Connection isn't instant.
  • Options to run as admin by default.
  • Easier file transfer as was in GoTo Assist.
  • Easy licencing (per seat).
  • Customers have experienced delays in us connecting.
  • Constant name changes e.g gotoassist gotoresolve has not been easy.
The product is very functional and does everything you need, but it's also a little slow and clunky. The UI is simple but not sleek. Many tabs, buttons, and functions are relevant but not immediately necessary, so they take up room on the screen by default.
Generally a positive impact.
  • GoTo Resolve
TeamViewer is a lot simpler and quicker to use.

Using LogMeIn Resolve

2 - the user interface is pretty straightforward to use so it's simple to use. The people who support this are generally there to assist in instances where a particular process may not be running as intended or because of some licencing/admin issue.

  • transferring customer care between representatives
  • to monitor natural PC processes - ie stuff you wouldnt see if you were logged in to the machine

the usability is simple to use which is really important. The only drawback might be directing customers to go through the logmein process to get connected.

never contacted Logmein Resolve support.
I was not involved in the decision making for this element of the purchase.

LogMeIn Resolve Reliability

The system was implemented quite quickly and easily.
no issues with this during months of use.
System was often quick to connect but sometimes would land on a blank page and needed to reconnect.

Upgrading LogMeIn Resolve

  • this was certainly easier to use than our previous product but unsure this was an upgrade of logmein resolve.

  • better performance
