Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I find it extremely useful to access my office computer. It has allowed me to work mostly from home, which has been very useful during the COVID-19 pandemic. It has helped with avoiding having to come into the office physically each time I needed access to a file. It also allows secure storage of information at one site rather than risking bringing it out of the office.

Pros and Cons

Ease of installation and start-up.
Full anti-virus protection and data sharing protection.
Good customer support.

Sometimes the window freezes or there are issues with the file transfer function

Return on Investment

It's been positive. The amount of gas I've saved by not having to go into the office when not needed has been awesome.
Improved efficiencies (although this doesn't necessarily translate financially) make for healthier decisions.

I think it is well-suited for most situations where you need to access information from the office remotely. It is excellent when you want to keep information on site but you want to work from home. It allows for flexibility in all situations. The only downside is if you want to have the excuse that you can't do the work because you "left it at the office", that excuse no longer exists.
