Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

I use Gusto to manage my time off requests, access my tax information, view my payroll information, and to wish all of my coworkers happy birthday. We also use it to set up employment and manage our healthcare information as well as a one stop shop for anything related to our job administrative information.

Pros

  • Gusto makes requesting time off a breeze.
  • Gusto makes getting my W2 easier than any other company.
  • Gusto is great at reminding me about coworkers birthdays.

Cons

  • I would like it if the interface for requesting time off was more robust. I can't just select a whole day. I have to list 8 hours for each day. and if I am requesting more than 5 days off some times it includes weekend days artificially inflating my hours requested.
Computer illiterate would struggle to navigate the more complex interface.

Gusto is well suited for small and moderate sized companies. I could see large companies tripping over the interface as it is not as intuitive as it needs to be.
