Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our organization uses Gusto to track employee working hours, coordinate payroll, and time off. We are a remote organization so it is helpful to have a system like this to ensure that everyone is working regular hours and that time off is approved beforehand.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Gusto makes it very easy to request time off.
Clocking in and adding hours is very simple.
Benefits are laid out in an easy to understand manner.

Cons

I'd like there to be a way to duplicate hours from a previous day or just more quickly add them.
Time tracking is easier to perform on desktop than mobile, so I'd like to see that improved for mobile.
It would be nice if Gusto highlighted days where you did not input any hours so they are easier to find.

Return on Investment

I don't really work on that side of the organization, but I will say I think it has majorly helped us with payroll and being more efficient as an org.

Usability

Gusto is very easy to use a time tracker, view benefits, and also set up direct deposit. I did not have to consult any manuals or videos to figure out all of its basic functions.

Likelihood to Recommend

I was actually surprised at how well Gusto works when I first started having to use it. I thought it would be clunky and difficult to use, but overall the UI is simple enough and it is fairly straightforward as a time management system. If a friend from another company asked me for a time management system that is easy to use for their company, I would recommend Gusto.
