Overall Satisfaction with Dialpad Meetings (formerly UberConference)
Today, we're actually transitioning off HighFive in favor of Zoom. We were using it for demos with projected clients and team meetings. It helped us to have meetings with teams across the pond and also meet with clients in a face to face setting while still being able to screen share and show the product through an interactive demo of the software. It was also being used in-house during meetings as a display of information when needed.
Pros
- Ability to share during a video conference.
- Multiple participants joining the same meeting from different locations.
Cons
- Inability to "boot" or remove people from meeting.
- Extremely difficult user-experience for joining a meeting for the first time.
- As a negative, the software woes of getting it started reflected poorly on our company.
- As a positive, once the meeting was up it ran smoothly.
- Zoom
In my opinion, Zoom is a far superior product to Highfive because it has everything that they are missing. The ability to remove people from meetings was a huge pain point for us as people will forget to close out of Highfive and we had no way of removing forcing us to create new meetings for the upcoming appointments creating a lot of confusion. The download and starting a meeting experience is also far superior.
