Overall Satisfaction with HipChat

It was used throughout the entire company. We had different public and private rooms for the different departments.

  • Easy to reply to a specific person in a room
  • Update your status
  • Integration with Jira

Cons

  • Reliability
  • Connection problems
We recently moved from HipChat to Slack because of the lack of reliability of HipChat.
HipChat is well suited for group conversations.
