Overall Satisfaction with Human Interest

We are a smaller real estate management firm with about 7 employees. Human Interest handles our 401k contributions and compliance testing. They are usually very easy to get a hold of and work with. They are integrated with our payroll provider so adding or removing employees is seamless. They handle all the annual reporting requirements and are available to consult when we have questions.

Pros

  • Annual reporting and compliance
  • Onboarding employees is easy
  • Web portal is easy to use

Cons

  • Email is great but reaching someone on the phone without setting an appointment would be nice
  • Communication from back office when it comes to owner contributions is lacking
  • I get to make significant owner contributions and know that I'm in compliance with the rules surrounding such
Would like the ability to call without an appointment. Email is good but takes time to answer questions.
Transparent enough
Its great for onboarding employees. Bit of a pain for employees who aren't computer savvy or dont have email though.

Any employer with more than a handful of employees who also uses Trinet for their payroll reporting. In my opinion, if someone has less than that number of employees, it's not cost effective.
