Overall Satisfaction with IBM Cloud Internet Services

We went from server-based Maximo to the SaaS version. We experienced a reduction in downtime due to server errors and maintenance issues. It also gives the user a faster connection in the front line.

  • At this point in our journey, being only one year in, we have not come up with any issues or examples of a need to improve
  • Lower overall cost, looking after servers, arranging maintenance etc. This is a much easier way of working for us.
We work in remote locations, and using our own network with internal security hurt us with internet speeds. The downside to cloud-based is that there is no offline use, which is a massive need in the mining industry.
