We developed various services, applications, and solutions for our clients, which need a storage cloud service with a high availability and resiliency and that is global and scalable and with good prices. The IBM Cloud Object Storage provides all these requirements for our clients.

Pros and Cons

Global. Multi-region cloud storage with easy mode.
Super easy simple interface.
Easy to connect with other services in the IBM cloud.

Return on Investment

When we use the cloud storage service of IBM, we gain in the time savings of developing some solutions.

Watson Studio (formerly IBM Data Science Experience), IBM Cloud Foundry, IBM Cloud Functions and IBM Cloudant

We often decide to choose IBM Cloud Object Storage because some customers already have the IBM Cloud suite, which makes it easy to use the service. In some cases it may present cost savings for some projects that are developed with other IBM services.

Likelihood to Recommend

IBM Cloud Storage is highly recommended for both small and large applications, including those that require scalability. It is also recommended for applications that need files to be distributed across the regions.

I would not recommend IBM Cloud Object Storage for a service or solution that has a large download rate because the cost can be high.
