Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using IBM Cloud Virtual Servers for our customers for application hosting. The auto-scaling feature is most effective and helped our customers without any issues. We also use our databases on virtual servers as they are more secure and reliable.

Alternatives Considered

Azure Virtual Machines and AWS Elastic Beanstalk

The selection of Virtual servers is easy and deployments and upgrades are easy to handle compared to the IBM cloud. Firstly UI is very easy and helps us to choose and customize fast without delay in critical times.AWS has a lot of varieties in instances we can choose based on our requirement and upgrade is instance type is very fast. I don't see much instances types in the IBM cloud.

AWS Backup, Azure CDN, AWS CloudFormation

Likelihood to Recommend

IBM Virtual servers are used for application hosting and for migrations. We can easily scale the instances with fewer options. There should be also a customized OS from the marketplace which is lacking due to which we cannot use for all applications testing.
