Overall Satisfaction with IBM Cloud Virtual Servers for VPC
There are instances where there may be hidden corrupt issues in a users machine. With the virtual workaround we can help to identify the issue by isolating the item. This allows the user to continue working while doing the testing and review process.
- The speed is very quick allowing the elimination of issues not associated with te problem
- Mirroring the users work but not interrupting what needs to be done allows for better efficiencies.
- The saving of the data quickly and efficiently allows the user and the tester to revisit the data for any updates or changes.
- I would like to a side by side screen potential in order to view the progress.
- A timer or update scale showing where we are in the review.
- I am always on the front end of the assistance so a review of the update concerning the back end would be helpful for future use.
- The speed is very quick as it reduces down time and improves efficiency The set up time when an issue was being addressed was minimal.
- There is also the added benefit of continuing to work while the virtual machine and server is correcting the determined issue.
- We have found that maintaining the corrective action on the virtual server allows other users with similar issues address this quickly, and efficiently. Productivity is able to continue.
I am not involved in the pricing off this but I do know the monthly pay as you use billing is cost effective in our environment. There are times when use is more beneficial over a period of weeks and other times not so much.
New project rollouts when we have changed broker dealers in the financial services industry has made this highly benefical and efficient. We had a temporary need for high capacity and once the move was complete it was back to a normal mode.
Security was and is a high priority in financial services. We need to have complete trust in the IBM service for this. Because our organization is small the auto assign feature was our method of choice. This freed up our staff for transitioning.

The integration is easy as well as compatibility. We also saw better pricing but I was not involved in the overall input of all of the services.
We found it necessary to look at some alternatives to our normal cloud and server services. For the larger temorary projects, and trouble shooting issues we found IBM Cloud was suitable.
