In our organization, IBM Cognos Analytics is used for to produce asset reports and asset utilization reports.

Pros

  • Easy to arrange data in a report
  • Creation of automated reports
  • Easy to use user interface while developing reports

Cons

  • Takes some cycles to learn the product
  • In turn takes time to teach other co-workers how to use the software
  • Saves time by consolidating information - large sets of data.
Ease of creating reports, scheduled reports, and PDFs for leadership reporting.
