we are using for multiple reason first of all for database monitoring and real time alerts. It helps address business problems like unauthorized access, insider threats, and compliance violations by providing features like real-time monitoring, vulnerability assessment, and data discovery and classification.
also, it fulfills our compliance requirements which is great for us.

- centralized policy management
- also predefined set of policy which helps in compliance based alerts
Cons
- I think it should be more user-friendly UI
- support portal needs to be more user friendly, for new users it's very hard to find resources.
- product training on portal and certification.
- first of all, improved the DAM requirement.
- then its budget suited for us.
- default compliance based policy helps us to understand the feature.
Database activity monitoring which i am using and it's having all the predefined policy which we can modify or use that same time.
the agent deployment is very and lightweight which is good, and it is sending all logs to Realtime to the server and we are getting Realtime alerts which we created in policy.

yes, it's having very controlled dashboard and report system which is very good for us as per our requirement we modify that and retrieve the result very easily. and same time we are having centralized log management system where we are sending all the logs and also, we can filter and multiple teams can monitor the same at different platform.
first of all, these products having all the capability but what is best suited for our environment we selected that as our primary goal to get monitor all the database activity then we should have its Realtime alerts and notification then again it should be in budget and compliance ready.
