Overall Satisfaction with IBM Power

We use IBM Power System S922 as a midrange server and [to] hosts management applications. We do not use IBM Power System S922 for production.

We've used IBM Power System E950 for [more] demanding workloads. S922 provides the same reliability but also comes with [the] added power to pull [through the] harder tasks [we operate]. The key to a [well-organized] infrastructure is planning and IBM Power System S922 is perfect for our needs [plus] it's reliable and powerful enough for the tasks [at hand].

IBM Power System S922 is fast and reliable but in terms of implementation, it will not hold multiple databases and demanding applications simultaneously. [The] infrastructure backbone is the perfect server. S922 will process backups [and] has [an] amazing uptime compared to [other] classic servers. You can also add virtual HMC's on it due to uptime.
