Overall Satisfaction with IBM POWER9 Servers

We currently do hosting, infrastructure as a service, reselling, and testing for new products for power systems.

Pros

  • Extremely dependable.
  • Speed is great.
  • Easy to maintain.

Cons

  • Some of the commands could be changed.
  • Easier methods for troubleshooting.
  • Logs could be more intuitive.
  • More efficiency saves money on the back end.
  • Maintenance included in the upfront price saves money.
  • The efficiency has clients sign on for longer terms.
We had such good luck with the IBM POWER7 systems that going to POWER9 for their improvements was a no brainer.
IBM POWER9 Servers works great in many industries due to its speed, which makes it ideal for hosting clients in the cloud, also makes it a great choice for HA clients.
