A great virtual assistant with a complete platform.
Overall Satisfaction with IBM watsonx Assistant
I am using this platform to teach my students how to create AI-based agents in adaptative projects using the scrum framework. During the classes, the students choose a scenario of use where this kind of solution can add value to end users. One of them is the use of virtual agents to file a corruption complaint and provide informacion on its status.
Pros
- Intents
- Dialogs
- Webhooks
Cons
- Integration with an API is somewhat complex.
- Create tutorials about how to integrate Actions with APIs.
- Create an easy way to sign up for an academic license.
- You can test your assistant quickly and inside the platform.
- You can create a virtual assistant in no time.
- Put the assistant in your website in some minutes.
I am using this platform to create a virtual assistant in Spanish, and based on my experience, I think that the NLP engine is very well easy and to use. I think that embedding the entities within the phrases of each action can improve the understanding and creation of the actions.
- Azure Bot Service (Microsoft Bot Framework), Salesforce Einstein Bots and Dialogflow
Microsoft's NLP approaches are interesting and powerful, but they don't have an easy way to model the interaction between actions like watsonx, and they don't have a powerful way to test your virtual agents while you build them. Salesforce Einstein is a basic platform and doesn't have a powerful NLP engine.
