Price, Performance, and Practicality

I utilize IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 for all of the sensitive/important personal and business files. What drew me to IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 was the offering compared to price, where competitors even with similar offerings were at least double the price. My intent for the backup was to have a safe, offsite location for my files that I can restore if my local copies were to fail or become corrupt, so I didn't intend on using it as a Cloud Sharing program such as OneDrive or Google Drive.

The setup and process to begin the backup was beyond easy. Once you install the program, it prompts you for the location you are looking to backup and then you initialize. It takes time to backup hundreds of Gigabytes of pictures/docs/programs but altogether it is a very "set it and forget it" process. Within the week all my files were backed up and separated by device. I also backed up my mobile device and laptop and they appear on IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 as those separate devices. Any issue? Phone fall in the ocean? I can restore from that image.

Overall I am very satisfied with the simplicity, cost-effectiveness, and security that IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 provide and feel safe hosting my filed on their service.
