Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Image Relay to manage archival digital assets, including historic publications and images. We use these digital assets to answer research questions, in current publications, and on social media.

Pros and Cons

Image Relay has a clean, user-friendly appearance
Image Relay is easy to use with little to no training
Image Relay makes it very easy to share assets with others

So far, I have no areas of improvement for Image Relay

Image Relay has made it possible to preserve fragile assets
Image Relay has saved tons of time when looking for an image or publication

Alternatives Considered

I have used several digital asset management systems in relation to archives work, and I think Image Relay is the most user-friendly and clean looking.

Usability

I have been able to implement Image Relay with very little guidance from their staff, although having a librarian assigned to me has been incredibly useful.

Support Rating

The support has been excellent - they respond in a timely manner and offer great tips on making the most of they system.
