Overall Satisfaction with Indeed Sponsored Jobs

I use Indeed Sponsored Jobs for every job posting I make. As the recruiter for my organization, it's my job to ensure that we are fully staffed with qualified applicants. With low unemployment rates in Oklahoma, I am competing against many other employers and I need my job postings to stand out and be noticed---the sponsored job feature does just that.

Pros

  • Matches candidates.
  • Attracts qualified candidates.
  • Makes my job listings stand out.

Cons

  • The instant match often matches with candidates I've already rejected. Then I end up inviting them again, which seems a waste of everyone's time. It would be helpful if there was an indication that the candidate has applied before.
  • Indeed Sponsored Jobs has made it possible to hire quickly, often within days, when needed.
My Indeed contact/support person is phenomenal at answering all my questions. He's responsive, informative, and always gets me the answers I need in a way I can understand.

When listing a job that requires a very specific skillset, I find that sponsoring the job has been very helpful in attracting well-qualified candidates. As well, when I need to make a very quick hire, sponsored jobs are great for getting many applicants in a short time frame. Sponsoring a job is probably not quite as important if you are hiring for a position that intrinsically attracts many applicants due to a broad skillset such as shipping and receiving clerk or admin assistant.
