Overall Satisfaction with Indeed Sponsored Jobs

We post ads for hourly and salary restaurant staff and boost ads for more clicks to our text to apply/interview scheduler. Indeed and Craigslist have been the best options in this current hiring market. We typically have to spend at least $500 a month just to get our hiring ads strategically placed or refreshed.
  • Placement.
  • Click to apply added feature.
  • Cost.
  • Not always having to refresh ads - would like an always hiring boosted ad.
  • Most people ghost on interviews, help us determine why.
  • Positive- time to hire.
  • Negative- applicant quality.
I wish I could put bonus or incentive information in titles. I always get flagged for wording and have to revert back to job type and company name only but those job listings help us find more candidates. It would be great to have a 2nd tier title with this information that is also shown on the job listings page.
See above. Sometimes I can finagle saying incentive instead of bonus and that helps.
I don't need support, I need less time to post ads or alert Indeed on if we've hired someone from that ad. I often don't know who a manager at one of our 10 locations has hired. I'm just a machine, posting and refreshing ads hoping to god that a few work out. Hahahaha.

The restaurant industry is a hard place to find employees right now. We have a bit of an advantage because we are busy, pay well, and split tips. A problem I often see is people applying for management jobs with little to no exp or too many short stints at past employers. We are paying out more and more just to get 1 or 2 mediocre employees that may not last more than a few months, even though we have a strong culture and pay over $18/ hour to start. I feel bad for restaurants with shallower pockets.
