Overall Satisfaction with Ingenico ePayments

In my previous company, we develop and manage more than 80 eCommerce platforms for different customers. Ingenico was the digital payment solution used in the vast majority of those. It was used to process any kind of payment like Credit Cards, e-wallets (Paypal, Alipay, etc.) but also Banks Transfers and SEPA Direct.
  • Provides lots of out of the box payments methods
  • Has native extensions for Magento 2 and Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • Has a usable admin intefrace
  • The tech documentation has improved over the years but sometimes is still lacking
  • On a lot of eCommerce platforms the integration should be done by hand
  • Multiple payment solutions
  • PSD2 compliancy
  • Good fraud prevention
  • The integration process was not as easy as we thought
  • Support and documentation is sometime lacking
Ingenico ePayments has probably the best cost-to-benefit ratio. It's very versatile at its core, and the fees are not among the worst. You need to invest a little bit in your first integration, but in the long run, it pays out. In general, it provides anything you need in an eCommerce platform for the right price.

No

Would you buy Worldline Global Collect again?

Yes

Ingenico ePayments is probably one of the biggest players in the world of Payment Gateways. It provides a lot of out-of-the-box features and payment solutions that are always appreciated by any consumer. It's PSD2 compliant and works worldwide, so you don't have to worry if your website is going international. Integration, however, could be tricky if you are not using a technology supported by the platform.
