Overall Satisfaction with InVision Freehand

We use Freehand for everything from brainstorming, gathering feedback, fun (icebreaker) activities, and more, from solutioning sessions to vision-setting discussions! It's a decent virtual whiteboard to gather people and ideas virtually.
  • Easy to add stickies.
  • Freeform whiteboarding.
  • Simple UI.
  • Workflow to collaborate with new users.
  • Unexpected crashes and down time, then having to clear cache.
  • Stickies.
  • Draw (pencil).
  • Emojis.
  • Overcome multi-location and pandemic limitation.
  • Promote collaboration from diversity and inclusion perspective.
  • Miro and MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
Miro and Mural seem to be a lot more robust with more features and functions, easier onboarding with new users too.

Do you think Freehand by InVision delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Freehand by InVision's feature set?

Yes

Did Freehand by InVision live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Freehand by InVision go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Freehand by InVision again?

Yes

It's more suited for users who are familiar with virtual whiteboarding tools. It's more robust than MS Whiteboard but less intuitive than other more well-established whiteboarding tools with more robust features and onboarding experience. We use this tool as added feature to InVision enterprise subscription. It'd be interesting to see how the individual Freehand as a tool priced out.
