Overall Satisfaction with ion interactive

Ion interactive is being used by MINDBODY as our marketing landing page platform. It is being used exclusively by our marketing department to generate leads related to selling our software. It address the need of our organization to quickly generate landing pages and microsites quickly without the help of IT.

Pros

  • Creating webpages quickly using prebuilt templates or you can build your own page from scratch. It has a drag and drop builder that allows us to use a GUI interface instead of hand coding everything. Extensive logic built in to allow completely customizable pages such as an interactive whitepaper.
  • A/B testing is awesome! We can quickly set up a/b tests to test any aspect of our landing pages. You can control the percentage of traffic and can even tell it when to shut off the test or it can optimize the winning traffic source for you automatically.
  • Customer support is outstanding. Anytime I have a question, it is answered quickly and expertly. I always get the help I need when I need it. They also have a ton of other resources available for use such as a help suite and videos.

Cons

  • One room for improvement within the platform is their ability to handle spam traffic. I would like to see ION blacklist bad traffic before it hits our pages. We have to go through every week and remove spam content. ION does have built in tools to help remove spam content but it would be nice to not see the spam even reach our pages.
  • Pricing model is a bit confusing as they measure by traffic and data storage. As we are a high traffic site, our pages quickly meet our quota so we have to purge data to stay in our limits. It would be nice to have unlimited storage so we could analyze our data over time.
  • We have had a direct positive ROI as a result of ION. We have doubled the amount of conversions since switching to ION.
ion interactive (ION) is an amazing landing page platform. It is a supplement to your current website, not a replacement. It is very well suited for specific campaigns and testing such as PPC. Since the pricing model is based on traffic, your budget is a guiding factor on the types of projects and campaigns you use it on.

  • We have used it to create targeted microsites quickly. Before ION, it took a lot of resources to create something on our website.
  • We are also using it for interactivity which was previously not feasible on the website.
  • Progressive interactive forms to engage the users.
It works. It is a quality product. It has increased our ROI. It is fun to use. Customer support is amazing. ION is always innovating.

ion interactive Support

The ION support team is amazing. There has not been a single issue they they could not solve for me. If there is a feature or request that they do not have, they have even, on occasion, created custom scripts for our team.

*Update 6/5/17 - ION has continued to delight on multiple occasions. I appreciate their attention to detail and ability to solve whatever issue I have. After 3+ years of use and support, ION still has my full endorsement.

Everytime is exceptional with ION. I know that sounds corny but it is true. If you need an answer now and it comes in a clear and concise manner and that happens everytime...what can I say, their support is exceptional.
