Overall Satisfaction with ion interactive
Ion interactive is being used by my department to create interactive content for corporate blogs. It addresses the need for an easy to use interactive content creator. This includes making content such as quizzes and interactive infographics. We're currently using this exclusively for our department. It also has potential to be used for tracking and optimizing user journey. This is something I'm very interested in.
- Ion has a very enthusiastic and helpful support staff. This is helpful because there is nothing worse than losing time on a project because you had to wait for tech support to answer a question.
- Ion has a vast library of videos and textual guides for using it's many content creation platforms. Again, learning the software is made easy if you want to go at your own pace with the library of guides.
- Ion offers a robust array of options for creating content. This includes e-books, infographics, animated infographics and quizzes.
- There is always room to improve the learning curve of the product. There could be more video tutorials and detailed guides.
- Some of the interfacing is a little confusing at times. It's a little difficult to go from an Adobe program like Indesign to Ion.
- I'd prefer it if we could keep the content that we produce after we cancel the subscription.

It depends on wha the individual is looking for and what their skill level and experience is. Ion is unique in that it is a comprehensive package. It offers CAD, analytics and web design and optimization. In order to achieve this without Ion, you would need Adobe, Google Analytics, Optimizely, and web developer. Adobe Marketing and Creative cloud appear to offer all of the features that Ion has. It's a tossup. Does a user prefer having everything under one platform and possibly a more affordable bill? I think that for a less experienced user, or a content team that is just starting out, Ion is perfect.
