Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Kameleoon to setup promotional campaigns on our site (e.g. banners during sales). Indeed Kameleoon allows me to add or to change images on my website, for a defined time, very easily.I also use it to A/B test technical modifications we consider, and take the best objective decision after seeing the results.

Pros and Cons

Being able to activate tests and personalizations on my own
Launch an A/B test or a full personnalization (with their smart graphic editor or the code editor)
Hotfix a problem on our website before our developeers can deploy a fix
Product recommendation tool, AI-driven personnalization

The graphical editor would be easier to use if it was responsive
Kameleoon is cookie-dependant, so visitors who use ad-blockers may not be targeted

Return on Investment

Kameleoon allows us to take right decisions before implementing the changes directly on our website
Kameleoon provides objective data and therefore helps us to understand our website visitors, how they behave, therefore increase the revenue thanks to the experiments.

I often test changes of wording (quick wins) on the website and check if it's worth deploying on the website before passing it on to our web agency. Recently, I added product sliders to all our listing pages which increased our engagement rates. I also set up easily a retention scenario (pop-in for visitors with products in their cart if they're about to leave the website) which drastically improved our conversions. We also used Kameleoon to completely redesign some of our pages (e.g. product pages). I don't recommend it because we did all changes at once and the statistical results were then hard to read. We didn't know which change impacted the visitor's journey and how.
