Overall Satisfaction with Kendo UI

We use Kendo UI for the development of our new product, fully developed in a web environment.
Since 2013 we have been using Kendo and keep electing year after year.
The implementation issues we have had were quickly answered, using the ticket system for support in 24 or 48 hours we have an answer.

Pros

  • It has robust objects to process data remotely with our REST service.
  • It has a lot of widgets. The visual and graphic components are very powerful and easy to use.
  • They constantly progress by adding more functionality and a better product.
  • Online support responds correctly and quickly.
  • It allows you to extend the components or create new components in an easy way.

Cons

  • It would be good if they offered the possibility of paying for customized improvements.
  • It would be very useful to present training for subscribers
  • We are in a stage of development of our product. So far we have made small developments and the acceptance by the users was very good!
We did not make an empirical product comparison. At the time of making the decision, what was offered by its competitors was taken into account.
I really have not found scenarios where it would not be appropriate to use Kendo UI.

Using Kendo UI

1 - Develop our library to create new products.
1 - You must have knowledge of HTML, Javascript, CSS, POO. Not much more.
  • We are using the product for the development of our new products.
  • We use Kendo with a module loading system in demand.
  • Hybrid applications, for example.
Several years ago we used Kendo UI and for now we will continue doing it.

First, we tested the operation with a small product, we have put it into operation and we have tested the acceptance of our users and the performance of the library.
Once we could verify that the product did the job very well, we decided to redesign our desktop products in a totally web environment using the Kendo libraries.

Yes, it has happened that the problem we had was not an error, but it was a functionality that the component did not have and we needed a lot, and they have helped me to solve it.

Using Kendo UI

I really believe that Kendo is easy to use. With the help of its documentation, the implementation of MVVM standards, and online support, there should be no major drawbacks.

Kendo UI Reliability

You can create new components. It can be used together with Angular.
The errors that we have detected were not of great importance and the online support provided a temporary solution until the next release.
The performance is very good.

Integrating Kendo UI

We have not had major problems with integration. The library easily adapted to our requirements.
