Distributing social posts to our facilities

Pros

  • Sending social posts to multiple users
  • Housing content in the content center all users can access
  • Analytics and tracking how posts are being used

Cons

  • Accounts constantly becoming unathenticated
  • Sometimes not being able to recall a post
  • Having to publish content to IG separately
  • Definitely helping with reputation management by quickly distributing social posts
  • Negative when the wrong content gets out to all of our users
  • Great that we can house posts in the content center for anyone to use
Initially, the support team helped us figure out how to use analytics so that we could accurately track how our content was being used.
Yes, centralized visibility has been huge so that we can see what content everyone is pushing out. It's also been a good way to make sure language is consistent throughout the social copy that different parts of our organization are publishing. Finally, I like that Khoros lets you see what other organizations. are publishing so that you can have a good idea of how your competitors are staying up to date in the social space.
It's good in terms of distributing content but it does seem to have a few issues, like forcing users to use tagging options or sometimes having accounts that aren't authenticated.

This is the first social marketing tool I've ever used.
Well suited for scheduling social content to multiple channels, which really helps save a lot of time. It's not as good for distributing content that may need to be edited or recalled to multiple users, because once those users get ahold of the content it's out of your hands completely. Overall, though, it is a pretty good tool for scheduling social content.
