Our HR Department is using the diverse library content to assign training on users on topics such as sexual harassment, diversity and inclusion, discrimination and business ethics. They are building the knowledge and awareness of the users and also to comply with regulatory laws, protect themselves from the unprofessional and unsafe work environments, and safeguard our organization’s reputation.

Implementing KnowBe4 HIPAA compliance training was a proactive step toward ensuring that our organization is well-equipped to protect clients data, adhere to HIPAA regulations, and mitigate the risks associated with non-compliance. It helped build a culture of security awareness and empowers employees to play an active role in maintaining HIPAA compliance.
Training from a single platform reduced the complexity of managing multiple training solutions. Employees can access all their training materials in one place, making it more convenient and efficient for them to complete their required training and for the HR&IT departments to manage the training and track the user's progress.
By educating employees about potential risks and threats, high-quality content helped our organization proactively identify and mitigate security risks before they lead to incidents or non-compliance. Engaging and clear content speed up the training process, allowing employees to complete their training efficiently without compromising quality. Also, it also works well for ongoing compliance refreshers throughout the year. The bite-sized format of many of the modules keeps things manageable for busy staff, and the content is generally well-presented and engaging.

Using KnowBe4 Compliance Plus
220 - Right now, a mix of users across our organization are using KnowBe4 Compliance Plus. That includes new hires going through onboarding, as well as existing staff who need to complete annual compliance training. We’ve also had managers use it to assign and monitor progress for their teams, which has been really helpful for staying on top of deadlines.
It’s not just limited to one department either—HR, IT, and even some of our customer-facing teams have gone through modules that are relevant to their roles. The platform’s flexibility makes it easy to roll out training organization-wide without much hassle.

2 - We’ve been able to support KnowBe4 Compliance Plus with just two people from the IT&HR department by taking advantage of the automation features. Setting up automated training campaigns, reminder emails, and completion tracking saves us a ton of time. Once the initial setup is done, most of it runs on its own, and we just check in periodically to review reports and follow up with anyone who’s falling behind.

Evaluating KnowBe4 Compliance Plus and Competitors
- Ease of Use
Ease of use was definitely the biggest factor in our decision to go with KnowBe4 Compliance Plus. We needed something that wouldn’t require a ton of setup or ongoing management, especially since we have a small team handling training. The platform was straightforward right out of the gate—assigning courses, tracking progress, and generating reports all felt intuitive.
That simplicity meant we could roll it out quickly without a steep learning curve for admins or end users.

If I had to do it again, I think I’d spend a little more time upfront comparing the available content libraries in more detail—especially to see how well they align with specific roles or departments in our organization. But overall, I’m still happy with the choice we made, but getting a bit more input from end users earlier on might’ve helped us tailor the rollout even better.

We didn’t purchase premium support, mainly because the standard support has been meeting our needs so far. The platform is pretty user-friendly, and when we’ve had questions, the regular support team has been responsive and helpful. For our current size and usage, it didn’t feel necessary to add the extra cost of premium support.
There was a time early on when we were setting up our first large training campaign and ran into some confusion with how the automated reminders worked. We reached out to KnowBe4 support, and they got back to us quickly with a clear explanation and even offered to walk us through the setup on a call.
What stood out was how patient and thorough they were—they didn’t just answer our question, they made sure we understood how to avoid the same issue down the line. It really helped us feel confident using the platform and saved us a lot of trial and error.
